Hi,

I run a small TV, video and film production company in Colchester, Essex and am currently looking for individuals who may be interested in collaborating on future projects.

We are currently looking into the possibility of being able to offer aerial filming services to our clients, and rather than us as directors, cameramen and tech ops going down the route of learning to fly UAV';s, we';re inclined to think a more sensible route would be the other way round; find experienced UAV operators, and teach them the principles of cinematography.

We currently use camera gimbals (Freefly Movi M10) on the ground, and so are fairly up to speed on this side of the technology, but in terms of multi rotors we';re very much new to the whole subject. We work with some big clients, and with the rapid increase in aerial filming, we see it as an exciting new opportunity for us. We';re currently researching into CAA licenses and regulations we would be working under, and looking at the logistics of aerial filming.

We';d been really keen to talk to experienced UAV operators, who might be interested in taking on freelance, ad-hoc work with us, and helping us develop this side of the business. We';re based in Colchester, Essex, and ideally would like to collaborate with people in this part of the country, but further a field would be fine as well, as our work takes us all over the country.

If this is something you think you might like to become involved with, please get in touch with us and we';ll go from there.

Many thanks
Neil
