Hi All,

Has anyone had an issue with their H3-3d not level. it';s few degrees out on the horizontal axis.

I am going to recalibrate my IMU making sure the chopper is 100% level and see if that fixes the issue.

Has anyone else on here had this issue and managed to fix it?

DJI gimbals are weird things, my H3-2D seemed to behave oddly when I first got it, sometimes siting there on the quint after boot, but I remember it decided to do a gymnastic exercise one day, twisting itself inside out, eventually settling down to level.  I have no experience of the 3D, but as you say, calibration should fix it, unless it';s a firmware bug?

How do you find the manual tilt on the 3D?  Again, when I first got my 2D, tilt was a bit hit and miss, sometimes jerky, sometimes ok, then a fware update came along, and hey presto, it';s fixed, plus it now takes full 360 degrees of Tx dial to go 90 degrees, so is much more precise.

It';s actually VERY smooth controlled from my Futaba 10J';s VR knob!
just need to get this think level as I took some video yesterday and its no level.
I did a very fast flight yesterday throwing the gimbal around at speed and i was still impressed.  lots of fast YAW turns.
The gimbal did have a moment though throwing itself to about 30degree for a second on the horizontal axis during a fast forward moving descent.

One other thing i have noticed is they twice it has failed to power up when connecting the battery,  i had to disconnect and reconnect.   I am hoping that replacing my XT90';s for the new spark free ones will cure this

Ah.  Is there not a ';known'; issue regarding the connecting cable?

Cracked it.  Levelled my hex using sheets of paper under the landing gear and re calibrated the FC.

The AeroXCraft landing gear struts needed a tweek to.  Checked that was all level and bingo
