Hi

Anyone got any recommended UK suppliers of 5 metre rolls of LEDs. Looking for brightest available but unsure how you measure the density ??

Regards
Roy

Cheers Guys.
Will have a look at both.
Which white do you think is the most universally visible.  Cool/ day or warm white.

Cool white are the brightest but navigation colours (red / green) are probably the most visible - there must be a logical reason for the more or less universal choice of those colours for aircraft!

You may find that white makes your aircraft less distinct in daylight as it will blend in with the sky. I have red, blue and green on my TBS Discovery and find the red and green most visible

Thanks Danny
My logical reasoning is red at the rear and white at the front. I then don';t have to think about it as a cars lights, which I can always remember, are the same. Thanks for you help.

Red and Green really stand out in the day time. I probably buck the trend slightly by having red at the rear and green at the front, but this comes from initially starting with tricopters, and have kept the same lighting pattern on my hex (ie a Y shape). Keeps light away from the camera too.

I also tend to like red at the back, also like car lights. Also, having come from an X4 which has red rear lights its just natural to me, especially flying LOS at night.

Thanks Guys
Think I';ll stay with red at the back but understand what you mean by white against a daytime sky, ours being more white than blue normally in the UK.
Think I';ll go for green at the front.
Thanks again.

red and green i tend to use as it most visible..
night flying i always add a blue strip somewhere as they fade first when battery is getting low..
dont grow up,just buy bigger toys!!!!

I have white lights on the rear of my quad but I have them flashing twice a second. They really stand out well even on a bright day.
