I bought one of the Rctimer cheap Gps modulesand I have to say it looks very good and also uses the ublox Neo 6m gps engine, it doesnt come plastic wrapped like some of the others which is a shame but it is the smallest ive seen to date, it comes with a nice lead but i had to swap the yellow and green wires over to make it work with the rabbit, as can be seen in the pictures it got a fix indoors with out problems and has a little led light on top to show it is powered, for some reason other modules seem to have this led underneath,
having tried several types of gps now I have to say I prefer the types that have the ublox engine rathe than the MTK the MTK seems to wander about a lot when compared to the ublox,
This Gps is a serial only version unlike the other one I posted that has serial and I2c although Rctimer do sell an I2c interface to use with it  ~~

Very nice looking unit shame its not insulated though  :o it looks like the I2c interface they sell has the correct plug on it to fit the Gps  ~~
it looks like you have mounted your on a piece of copper faced board is there a reason for this ?

Which to buy ? do either of them perform better than the other ?

Gaza07

Both units are very nice and both have the same Ublox engine, the other is a bit more money but ships from the UK and has the I2c interface built in, although I havent tested this side of it yet,
Im pretty sure the lower voltage would be for a I2c connection but Im not sure,

The copper faced PCB was fitted to help prevet interference from the flight controller as  lot seem to put there Gps on a mast to prevent it and I didnt want to do that  ~~
