RCtimer 5010/360 kv motor problem

I have just changed motors on my discovery to RCtimer 5010/360 kv. I am using the stock 30 amp DJI esc';s. Now when i run the motors they are really slow and will not lift, if i put another type of motor on they work perfectly ok. Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated

changed from what, what prop';s size and all running just slow?

I seem to remember reading that these motors (360 kv and below) need a certain type of esc.

what propeller and what battery you use? a 320 kv is more a 6s setup...

Have tried the motors with another esc and they work properly, I suspect its the opto esc they do not like. Thanks for the replies
