Reliable Gimbal for Nex5/G10 and possibly DSLR

Hi - I';ve built an S800 Evo for a friend who does professional photography with his S800.

I put an RCTimer brushless gimbal in it with an Alexmos board. 3 axis. It took some setting up but works a treat.

Problem is, it';s less than reliable. Because the cables are exposed wires have worked loose from motor pins, got tangled up. Plugs on the board have wiggled loose. The alloy arms of the gimbal have got bent here and there. Nothing too serious but when a bad connection starts to appear it is hard for him to diagnose.

I do all the repairs for him. Even with good soldering and cable strain relief it setill gets messed up over time. We discussed that perhaps it';s time for a more professional gimbal.

Any suggestions? I';d like it to be able to handle a DSLR for future proofing, and 3 axis is almost a must, though not 100% critical.

I don';t want him to fall over with a £1000 bill, but I';m also wary of continuing down the Alexmoth path. He just can';t cope with plugging in and programming it, and I can';t support it remotely.

Video is still a long way off for him, which tempts me to suggest an RCTimer servo driven big "legacy" gimbal So much simpler. Less balance issues and no controller board! (Naza v2)
