Hampshire Meet - ** 24th August in Romsey, Hampshire **

Hi folks......

Last year I arranged a meet up in Basingstoke  ( see topic  http://www.multi-rotor.co.uk/index.php?topic=3943.0 ). The day went well so I think it';s time for another.

I have moved to Romsey, and the school that I work for have very kindly agreed for me to hold a meet here.

I am looking at the latter part of August , dates available are Sun 24th, Sat 30th, Sun 31st of Aug.

We have 130 acres of private land to fly about in , I can just about knock up a tea and coffee and should you need some food, there is a Mc D';s just up the road.


I would ask that anyone who wants to come along have insurance, for obvious reasons and a donation to the Wessex Heart Beat charity would be very welcome, perhaps £10.

Talking of the latter, I checked the Air Nav Order for the Festival but I couldn';t find the map deliminating the restricted area.

I guess I';m a newbie to all this... However i';ve been flying multi-rotors for a while (about a year)... I have been looking for a meet up event to go to for a while now, but always seem to miss them.

Looking forward to flying in a safe environment with other multirotor flyers! Looks like a great location too!

Its a couple of hours drive from me... so might camp in the new forest the night before.

I too have signed up to fpv uk insurance.

See you';ll next sunday!

Id love to come but I gotta go to china on business for a week, leaving on Sunday. Currently I have still not got my visa back, so if I don';t get the visa in time, and it all falls through, I will be there!

Currently lacking any sort of instructions that came with it (Which when looking at attaching motors/plugging in the FC, is important), and some basic equipment which I plan on picking up over the next few days (Cable ties, power supply for charger).
