Hobbyking and Malaysia Post

Thanks for posting the mail above tupoar!

Based on the email address I sent my own inquiry to the Malaysia post to ask if they could find out where my parcel was, how it had been sent, how long it might take etc, etc.  They are looking into it and will get back to me.

Interested how it has been sent as the shipping states Air (and I assumed was why it cost $40).  Which if that';s not the case, ie has been sent by slowboat, then I will probably take it further (as my assumption was I had paid for it to fly).  End of the day if I had known how long it was going to take I would not have placed the order (or selected different shipping method).  As far as I could tell at the time I went through exactly the same checkout process as the order placed the day before which has been here for about 2+ weeks.

I';m off to watch some paint dry....

I am exactly the same as you 2 orders a day apart first took 2 weeks to arrive 2nd over a month and still not here

So today I log into Hobbyking and see that the 2 orders that have not arrived have now got a cancelled status. So I promptly raise my Paypal disputes to claims and very quickly get contacted with the tracking number from HK, only to still have the orders sitting in a cancelled status. Needless to say I am continuing with the claims!

HK change your orders to cancelled when you open a Paypal claim as PP take money off them and hold it till the claim is resolved.

Have they started begging you to cancel the claim yet?

Mine have only changed over the last weekend though...

No they haven';t begged at all. They have only provided the same tracking details twice. I just turned around and said that its unacceptable to have not dispatched orders for 10 days from their own warehouse and pushed through to claim etc. We';ll see how it goes from here out.

Paypal supported my claim last week and I got my money refunded ... the next day Hobbyking finally responded for the first time to the ticket I';d raised about it (since it had been ignored all my other correspondence had been via the chat interface).  A few days after that my order turned up  (nearly 2 months after I got the tracking number)

I then had to spend 20 minutes in their chat interface trying to get a return address from them so I could send it back.

So one of the packages randomly arrived today! Tracking hasn';t been updated or anything. Managed to cancel the paypal claim so HK gets their cash on that deal. Still awaiting the other, may change the claim back to a dispute and wait out a week.

2.       Dispatch No; 0010
3.       Estimated delivery transit; 8 to 16 weeks
4.       Departure Date; 07.07.2014

We are sorry for inconveniences occurred.

WTF! Ordered 18th June and shipping paid for by Air. Time to raise a dispute and look for another source. Could be nearly xmas by the time it gets here!

58 days after placing the order for my FPV kit and about 3 weeks after paypal gave my money back, a box landed on my desk this morning. Other than a dodgy label with a tracking number on it, there was no mention of ';dangerous goods';.

Now the fun and games of returning it.

Trying to work out whether to suck it up and wait it out, or get refund and order from UK supplier.

Although on principle feel should get some compensation for wrong shipping.
