ok i have herd about this problem but not seen it until today myself was doing piros  in the garden and playing with x/y settings the sun was getting low and every time the sun hit the left hand side of the naza it would drop like 5 ft so i opend her up a little black electrical tape on the left hand side of the naza 15 minutes later all is good
If you find yourself in danger of being taken seriously, then try to do something which undermines or sabotages that perception in some way.

I had put black tape on mine long ago when I read about it . It';s an easy and simple fix and i did not want to wait until problems started , my advice to everybody with this unit is to do the same.

What is ';DJI Barro'; ??  - should I be putting black tape on the Naza in my hex??

They are talking about the Barometer inside the naza it is a air pressure sensor that is sensitive to sun light, and with the winter sun being low in the sky the light is getting through the naza case and affecting the altitude hold performance, maybe one of the naza owners could upload a picture showing where the tape should be placed  ~~

I may be being thick, but looking at that picture the "tape" is on the righthand side, not the left.

True,i just photoshopped DJI';s own Naza picture and that is why i said ';something like this'; just so you can get the idea.
As stated above its the Left side thats important but on mine i did both sides while i was at it.

boustany

Not sure if this has been answered but does the wookong-m suffer from the same sensitivity to sunlight flaw?
The reason i';m asking is because i almost lost my s800 with z15 yesterday due to a sudden drop right after 2 minutes of flight on the snow.
Do u think covering the IMU would do the trick?
I really appreciate any assistance.
Thanks!

benchmark

Nope the wookong does not have the same light sensitivity problem.
