Zenmuse alternatives? Eagle Eye 3 Axis brushless gimbal

Hi, anyone any experience of alternatives to the ubiquitous Zenmuse for bigger camera loads?  How about the seemingly new one from Unmanned Tech the Eagle Eye 5D 3 Axis brushless gimbal. Or is this another Chinese one rebranded?

Any others to consider?

I';ve just had a good look at this, was not aware of it before this evening. Looks like a real alternative to the Zenmuse, still pricey for what it is but but a hell of a lot better price than Zenmuse of course.

The more competition in this market the better as the prices will only get more reasonable.

EDIT: Wed A.M ,I have done a little more googling this morning and this appears to be available in the states for $799 ! It is a chinese product.

A group buy might be an option. I dont think i can better this for the money by building something myself, not without a cnc router anyway.

I was looking at the price from someone in Slovenia for some reason, i though he was the creator of it.

Unmanned tech';s price is £528 for the handheld unit and £99 for the conversion so £627 all in. This is on my shopping list !

I dont know what the price of it is in sterling and i would not be interested in a servo option when i come to buy one.

Be good for someone to give a comparison for something a 1/3 of the price!

An old thread now but I was just looking into 3 axis gimbals for the GH3 and came across this one:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/171360526370?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649

I knew I';d heard the name mentioned somewhere before and it turns out it was in this thread. I know it';s a Chinese version and not a DYS original(though it does come with DYS motors)and it still needs the AlexMos board but with that, all in for under £400 seems ridiculously cheap for what it is. Even more so when you consider the price of it';s nearest rival, the now ubiquitous Zenmuse.

Any thoughts?

Edit: Just spotted a DYS original complete with AlexMos controller for £380 on bang good. Customs to bear in mind there but still not bad.

Can anyone vouch for the gimbal mentioned above please? I';m after a 3 axis to mount a Sony a6000 on and I really like the look, reviews and price of this one. I can';t afford Zenmuse money so this seems to fit the bill nicely. I know it';s designed with dSLR cameras in mind but hopefully the a6000 should balance up okay.

Any info, thoughts or suggestions please?

Many thanks for the link and info. Do you think a gimbal of this size is overkill for the a6000? This one caught my eye too:
