Sudden urge to go coaxial on my new TBS frame

AS im going to use my disco for FPV I was reading about how coaxials give greater stability especially in strong winds.  Not sure if any FC boards support coaxial motors for a dead cat setup. Wondering if its been done before?

Do you mean like an x8? I';m sure apm does if that';s the case!

Would it even be possible with DJI type arms

Yep x8 coaxial motors top and bottom.  Had bad experience with my APM 2.5.2 though tried for over 2 months to get it working with no success  :-/

As Steve said,  it';d be impossible with dji arms.
What';s wrong with your apm?

Not with the dji arms, but Ive seen tubular carbon fibre arms on a disco before then, so a coaxial motor mount could be attached to that.

What';s wrong with your apm?

I configured it for a tricopter initially but it had reverse yaw which I just couldnt fix.  So then decided to configure for a Q450 quad, but managed to blow the 3.3v regulator in the process.  Got the regulator fixed but now I just cant get the bugger to arm.

Ive been told the tricopter firmware may need clearing off the APM by downloading Arduino and some file called eeprom but not sure how I would go about it.  Just gave up with frustration in the end.  On top of that I was getting hastle off me gf for being glued to the computer for months on end trying to get it flying.

Would love to get it flying though.

Fair doo';s ~~

But does that not negate the point of buying a Discovery frame? Surely it';s only appeal is the use of cheap as chips arms. Otherwise, to me at least, it';s just an expensive brand and a frame among frames
