Hi all... Just wanted to see what you all make of the missing 777 fiasco !!! Whats your take on whats happened to it ??? Personally i am guessing the pilot was got at and was given instructions on where to fly to. I reckon there may have been something or someone very important on board that somebody wanted to get there hands on. Love to know what was on the manifest for the cargo hold...

Regards rob

It';s missing.
My thoughts are with the relatives of the missing persons.
That is all.

i find it crazy that it';s just disappeared, its very strange indeed, sending signals after it had disappeared, the ringing out of mobiles phones etc

deff something well dodgy going on.
Point and click.

Monkey see, Monkey do.

If phones are ringing they can track them(see which antena connects to the phone) within minutes... so definitely there is something really dodgy going on.
Precious cargo/passenger on board most likely... hope the rest of passengers are Ok.

Everything was normal up to the point they bid Malaysia ATC farewell and signed-off. They were supposed to contact Vietnam ATC but this never happened and repeated calls from ATC remained unanswered.

Both the transponder and ACARS stopped transmitting (was either turned off or failed) but a satellite system was still running and responded to hourly pings for several hours more. We';ve only been shown the last ping position which indicates one of two possible "arcs" of position.

A cell phone network can give a ringing tone to a caller after connection to the called phone has been lost.
