HOW NOT TO RETRIEVE YOUR PLANE. !!!!!!

The story so far, my mate has got his plane stuck in the top of a tree, apparently it jumped out in front of him, it is too high to climb, so I come up with the idea of tying a line with a hook on the bottom, to his quadrocopter to fly above the tree, lower down and try to pull the plane out. suffice to say it didn';t quite work. DOH

3 hours a long pole and a lot of tree climbing and we got both home damage to quad nothing

the plane needs about 6 hours to fix it

This is why I always carry a chain saw in the boot of the car.  Not only do you get the quad back but you can also stock up on fuel for the wood burner !!!

Hey, we could have made it a great day out, BBQs, beers, deckchairs - front row seats with great entertainment. We each could have shouted out our respective (& conflicting) advice... What a fun day out it would have been...

Next time, give us a few days notice so that we can plan it properly...
