This is very intriguing, firstly how on earth did the get it back to download the film footage, my guess is this was a deliberate act which is an odd thing to do but there are nowt stranger than folk the decent looked like a high speed decent but under FC control, the other obvious thing is it was probably out of range and just did an auto land, there was a couple of odd wobbles though which did sound really strange... Would love to know though ...

No they didn';t get it back. The octopus took it and uploaded the footage!

Watching this brought back the cold sweat I experienced when I had a fly away.
Love to know how they found it.

Given the lack of replies on the YouTube posting I think it may have been found by a local snorkeller or diver and not the owner/pilot.   

Looking at how he seemed to lose control almost from lift off, and the distance travelled, I can';t see how they would have known where it came down!

Initially it looks like he';s got the orientation wrong, can';t figure it out, and the multi flies further off-shore.  Reminiscent of my last fly-away (that got found by @quadfather).  I wonder what it was, he should have hit up Loiter (if it was available)

ground station recording probably would have shown location then a quick wetsuit jobbie dive for recovery.
