Hobbyking alternative

Evening all,

Im having a few problems with HobbyKing site being down for last couple of days when trying to checkout.  Im trying to purchase a KK2.1, some motors, ESC';s, power distribution etc.  Apart from rctimer (who dont actually do KK) does anybody know of any other supplier similar to HK?  Im in no hurry so dont mind the slow boat from china and looking for somewhere with HK prices.

Doesn';t the designer and author of the software sell them via his website (in Germany from memory)

I';m using the worst android tablet in the world do I can';t really check, but seem to remember that they are not fitted with the LCD display as standard.

You could also turnytechrc on eBay but he is a bit expensive (but seems to deliver a decent service)

Yep.... and I was informed by a Chinese supplier they will be yacking it up until the 18th FEB !!!!

Cheers for those guys.  Managed to finally get order through to HobbyKing this morning but have also ordered a few bits from Goodluckbuy now too. Seems Chinese new year celebrations begin on the 26th Jan and end 6th Feb, so hopefully managed to get in time.
Not in any rush though and kind of like the wait for Chinese delivery. Takes so long I forget about it and then when i does turn up its a nice surprise.

FYI - myrcmart.com has APM Arducopter 2.6 flight controllers for $69.00!  Thats a good price! Hmm, tempted.

APM seems to be cheapest on aliexpress 30 - 60 quid depending what u want with it . Tempted myself as i';m not really into all these multiwii "options" with the aio board , as soon as I think ive got it sussed theres another thing to change in it.

Cool. Cheers for that. I';ve already got one apm in my tbs disco and can highly recommend them. My hex fell out the sky yesterday with a crius aiop v2 and megapirate 3.0.1. (the usual mid air disarm problem is back) Time for another apm I think.
