I have a mobius camera and I have no idea how to use it. how do I change the settings on my computer. do I need to download a program if so can someone point me in the right direction. When I plug it in it downloaded a driver then just came up as a external drive im lost

thanks guys I';ve got it running now and when I plug in my camera it just says in box at top Mobius action cam v0,47 and I can not push anything else do I need to format card oram I missing anything

Format card as FAT32 and you should be good to go!

Just select ( click) your camera in that box , and the software will let you select stuff.

you can format the card in the camera through the software if it needs done.

I all, Just got my Mobius today (west country UK) I can download the setup file,but my computer wil not open them,is my Norton anti virus blocking it ?

In my opinion, Norton is a very restrictive program! I';ve been using the Microsoft security software for several years now with zero issues or problems and it';s free!

If you do decide to uninstall Norton, Google the procedure because it';s not as straight forward as hitting uninstall!

If you don';t want to uninstall, then you should be able to configure Norton to allow your computer to open it.

+1 with jimbo norton has killed my pc3 times now after reading a artical in pc format that put Microsoft security essentials  number 3 in a top ten list with norton at number 6 i made the switch and have never looked back it works and it free brill

Norton is horrible (forced to use the corporate version in work)

There';s certain nasties that the MS product never finds (the one that locks your PC claiming you have viewed chuld porn and demands a 100 euro fine)

Avast is free and works very well indeed but it does dislike the APM Mission Planner (declares that the files are not commonly installed by a cast users so to be careful)

If you are with virgin media BTW you have a free F-Protect subscription, many bank accounts give you free antivirus

I';m a very big fan of Microsoft security Essentials. Whenever friends tell me that they have problems with a slow PC and other issues, I first remove whatever security system they have (given permission of course!) and install Microsoft security Essentials.

If it didn';t work, I think that the media would really have a field day!

Just had a friend look at my computer (he works for a computer firm) he could find no way around the ';norton'; software...he instructed the ';norton'; antivirus to allow the Mobius software thro,but this failed after several goes.He said the only way is to  disable ';norton'; temporarily,download the software then enable Norton after.
This worked and it';s O.K.  now...he added that the Mobius software has possibly not been ';cleared'; by Microsoft and then ';norton'; because it';s not a major player like Nikon say....but in time this will change.

Unrecognised execytables shouldn';t be blocked by any antivirus as quite simply nobody submits their files to antivirus vendors (you would never get your software or patches released. Some av packages allow you to enable this behaviour but this is usually for corporate environments where all installs are blacklisted by default.

Installs carry multiple executable files (usually) which can involve dozens .DLL files no vendor can be expected to carry out that process for every release and update

The only certifying that MS do is for device drivers and that';s solely for comparability.(WHQ or something similard, that costs a fortune)

Check the Norton logs as the installer may try to somehing stipid like create a directory in the root of the C drive

Google Chrome also blocks you from downloading the setup file, but Microsoft IE doesn';t, go figure as our US collaegues say.

Mine has firmware 1.13 on it but the setup program says 1.17 is available, what enhancements does 1.17 bring.

Update to address;-
some SD cards not working with mobius and
a new Dynamic Wide Range setting = Low Light

probably other little tweaks I';ve not noticed.
