Hi everyone, one of your members said I should post here to see if anyone can help.

A lady lost her Wolfdog a week ago today and as its in fields sightings are few and far between. I know it is too windy but if anyone in the area is flying at anytime  with cameras we would be greatful of any sightings.

I wont take up any more of your time as we have a Facebook page set up.

Just trying to help owner of the lost Wolfdog which was seen by members of the public in fields around Whitwick and a possible sighting between Barton in the Beans and Odstone last Thursday.

Thank you for your time and Merry Christmas

I';d love to help, but unfortunately it';s way over the other side of Leicester to me.  However, a friend of mine once lost a pet dog up in the wilds of Scotland (poor thing bolted after his car crashed).  They returned home after a fruitless search, with much sadness in the air.  They did leave some notices with the local folk, but resigned themselves to the loss.
Some weeks later, they got a call from the local ol'; bill, with positive sightings of the beast.  Another few weeks went by, and one day my friend got a call, saying that the dog had been apprehended, and was awaiting collection!
They wasted no time in embarking on the drive, hundreds of miles, to the farthest northern tip of Scotland.
When they got there, they were reunited with their beloved pooch, and could not believe the condition they found the animal in!
Two months in the virtual wild had turned their biscuit & treat munching barrell of a lapdog into a lean, shining diamond eyed pedigree!

So, it may not be all bad, there is always hope, and I';m sure that your lady friend will be reunited with her hound, sooner rather than later.
