A bit windy but testing the new yaw settings, I took the opportunity to grab a couple of photos while the sun was shining...

Hi Rob

I am not sure yet - I think there is some improvement but I have not had time to d/l the vid from the camera just yet so that I can see. I have altered the curve so that there is a goodly flat area in the centre area. I think I have over done it as I now need to crank the stick well over before it turns. That said, your suggestion and my experiment this morning has proved to be a great lesson learnt. It has given me an understanding now of what curves are and how they react with the control. I am most obliged for the help. when I have had time to explore and trim the curve to s comfortable state, I will start to play with the Naza Gains.

What I want to achieve at the end of the day is to hover at any particular height, and do a slow and smooth panning rotation, taking say, 15 to 20 seconds per 90 degrees of rotation. That, to me, would be the bee';s knees.

At the moment, my primary objective and enjoyment out of this new hobby, is to make ';interest';  and landscape type videos of place around where I live and of the various ';beauty'; places I visit.  I am a bit long in the tooth to learn the skills of going hell for leather 6 inches from the ground and letting rip with the adrenalin.  ::)

I call it The Beast at the moment but ';Gladys'; seems to be sticking. Maybe something more glamorous like Gertrude, Grezelda, Milderd or even Cynthia

Perhaps I should be original and call it ';My F450';

I have to say that I always find it a little odd when grown men name their models,  but each to their own.

Hi Doofer

Yup, it was a dodgy set up but it was the start image of a Photoshop article I wrote on the OOB (Out of Bounds) photo technique.

Again, no way will I try to sling that camera & lens underneath ANY drone - My insurance company would forbid it!

The final image was:

Some of my other OOBs:

Edit ... on second thoughts ... not really appropriate.
