Dual diversity antenna, 32 channels, and built in camera

The widescreen is a useless gimic and is gonna just screw up perspective of all fpv cameras none of which are widescreen though which seems ultra dumb

Looks half decent to me.  Diversity is good, but being compatible with all those Vtx';s is a winner.  I could probably use it with DJI';s own 5.8 Vtx gear?
As you say, the jury is out on the WS, I guess we';ll have to wait until somebody on here buys one and tries it out for size!

Mine should be (according to the tracking info)  arriving today...  ::)

My Quad however is undergoing a bit of restoration work at the CAT 2 headquarters...

Will give you a run down as I see it, when I see it! Bear in mind I have only ever had a look through some Base SD';s...

Pretty stoked to say the least - my last set up was.... how should I put it? Special?  :wack0

Well....

I can already tell that my "aquiline" features are not overjoyed by the fit, but I have read that the silicone needs time to get broken in.

Will give you a proper run down once I have given them a few flights

If anyone in Devon would like to check them out give me a holler...

i think you should look at this xjet beat you to it but as allways the second part never turns up

SkyZone FPV glasses/goggles (versus FatShark)

still looks good need more people making these gogs to reduce the price of them fat shark corner the market and they no it and this 1 is a good review if not long
Foxtech - Skyzone FPV Googles - RCGroups.com

just dont no if the people are picked are random

Definitely good that there is some competition for Fat Shark rather than the overpriced nonsense that we';ve seen so far from other manufacturers.   It can';t be long before we see some cheaper WS FPV camera equipment which will suit the format for the goggles.   Although I';d have thought a GoPro would suit. No?

I have Fat Shark Attitude and am happy with them. But these would have certainly been on my shortlist, especially so as they are so broadly compatible with VTX from so many sources.

Had a bit of a comparison with the skyzones and Fettler';s Base SD';s  - I am happy to say that I am not disappointed.
We both felt that there was a little extra in the width with the SZ';s.  I felt that there was a little better saturation to the SD';s. Fettler felt that there was a discernible sharpness to the corners of the SZ';s also which is great considering that it was a wider image overall. What was plain to see is that without adjustable IPD it would be very difficult to get the best out of the goggles as it was obvious that we had very different Interpupillary distance';s while exchanging the headsets (Fettler';s criminal ancestry no doubt  :azn).  The "test" was done with the same FPV camera and VTX...Not had a fly with them yet  :cry

Fettler

Agree. Nice goggles.
Niggles- too easy to press the channel buttons while taking them on and off and then having to cycle through all the channels and bands to get back to where you started.
Poor fit on my face as I had lots of daylight around the eye-cups. Jury still out on the goggle-cam, its like being p155ed, try putting a key in your front door.
I liked the wide screen effect and having a sharp image right to the edge.
It really cant be that difficult for someone to clean up the market with some good goggles that do everything for a good price.

flybywire

Sounds positive guys.  It';s the holy grail to beat FS gogg';s hands down, and I am indeed very happy with my Attitude';s.
However, the thing that interests me about these is their compatibility with most common Vtx frequencies, so I believe one could for instance use the DJI proprietary Vtx & an Immersion/FS one as well.
