Just checked online, still says processing :(. That would be annoying as I ordered before the 2pm cutoff.

Will see what happens.

Pete.

sausageroll

Just ordered six new batteries for it too!

Getting serious now.

Not quite next door, Martin rang me about 6 to say the box hadn't left, and I asked him where he was, and it was about 20mins drive away, so rather wait another day for it, I drove over and got it. Nice guy, looking forward to dealing with him again.

Just mounted the GPS thingy, and im fudging my way through the assist software on a windows VM on my imac. Will try and wire it up tonight.

Gaza07

Very good and keep us informed and dont forget pics  ~~

Its wired up, the Naza is powered, the incredibly bright LED is dazzling me, and im just installing the driver software now. Got the assist sortware going, hopefully will have it working soon enough... The light on the naza box is blinking so something is happening....(!!)

Just spent the last 20 mins trying to get the mode switch to work, just realised that the flap/gear switches are only active in acro mode on the tx. Got all levers calibrated, no errors showing (apart from can only find less than six satellites (I'm inside)) so all looks good.

Will finish off and fly tomorrow.

It was great to meet you Mr S Roll

You did not waste a second on that now did you!

How did you find the Mac and the assist software, did they play well together or did you use another option?

Regards

Martin.

Hi Martin,

The software runs fine on a windazz 7 VM on my imac. I was a bit nervous as USB devices (especially ones that have a USB-serial controller in them, like this probably does) often don't work, but it was all ok first time on this.

I gotta set up my function switches now, then im gonna take it outside adn check it can secure satelites properly and then I gotta wait for my quadcopter build partner to finish work so we can see if it works...

Pete.

Gaza07

Im glad its all going well  ~~ and don't forget your video camera  :whistling:

Got flap switch working the GPS / Attitude, just fiddling with some other settings to get the failsafe switch working.

Gaza07

I cant enter compass calibrate mode, as it says flick switch between position 1 and position 3 6-10 times. I cant do this as the dx6 only has two position switches so ive had to invent another position using the flap mix functions in the radio and another switch. I wonder how im gonna get it into calibrate mode...

Gaza07

Dennis has been having problems setting his naza up he only has 6 channels to maybe they should say you need a radio with a 3 position switch, Dennis said he mixed 2 switches to give him 3 positions  ~~
He still cant get it to arm have you managed to arm yours ?

Dennis is Longnail

Yeah ive had it in the air breifly, you put both sticks to bottom left position and it springs into life. Its working fine, its having trouble getting 7+ satelites in my garden, but it did get the full signal when i flew it and it looks stable but i started to cut up a bush so I landed it.

The only thing I cant get it to do is enter compass calibration mode, everything else seems to be working....

Gaza07

You might be able to help Dennis out seeing as you have just set one up  ~~
hes in the chat now nip in and have a word
