SO, what's on people's Christmas Wants List then?   :D

I have just jumped early on a personal buy more by need that desire as my charging arrangement is more "well, that happened" than planned. Two of the six chargers I regularly use have now started to dim the screen backlight due age and huge hours used, and TBH their balancing and other features are now below par on new designs.  I only have one that does storage, for example.

I inherited a year ago a Graupner Ultra Duo Plus two port charger that new cost just under £300. I struggled several times to get it to work at all, as it needed each battery to be identified and "registered" before it would charge it. It also makes a nuclear power station look small, weighs a ton, and the various input/output ports are extremely poorly placed and the controls extremely convoluted and confusing, VERY easy to make a mistake!!!!

Even on basics it fails dismally, for example the two banana socket paired outputs result in the leads obstructing the none too visible anyway LCD mono display, FFS!!!   :slap:

After investigating current offerings, (and several OOS) I found that one seemingly desirable 4 port charger wasn't, with reports of both under and, worse, over charging.  :blink  :hmm:

So, I have bought another make's model just arrived in the UK.  Its on the way to me. Good move or mistake? Time will tell and I'll report!

Anyway, got any Christmas plans?  ;)

Christmas plan is to get back on the Sim and then hopefully back flying quads again!
It will be interesting to see how you get on with the charger.
I try :-)
