Taranis X-Lite S/Pro Firmware upgrade confusion?

Hi All

I have a Taranis X-Lite S/Pro and it seems everywhere I read I must upgrade the firmware before using it. I've followed a few webpages and also Youtube post's but they all seem to have a different variant on how to go about it.

So far I have Open TX Companion 2.3.1 installed and a profile set up to match the Taranis X-Lite S/Pro.

I've done the following;

1. Downloaded the latest firmware and SDCard contents from https://www.frsky-rc.com/taranis-x-lite-pro/
2. Backed up the radio to my google drive
3. Did a Write Firmware to Radio

When I hit the "Write to TX" It seems to flash the radio pretty dam quick with no splash screens then says complete. Below at the bottom of this post is the log.

Two more questions, I don't get the "Welcome to Open TX" play when I turn on the radio and I have no idea what I have to do with the SD card contents I downloaded and why I need it in the first place?

Ok got my head around the SDCard now, have all the files and correct folder structure on there but still don't seem to be able to update the firmware?

When I go back into the Transmitter and check the version I have the following;
VERS: 2.3.0 (2bd0a3f9)
DATE: 2019-06-05 10:21:49
EEPR: 219

Screen caps from "Write to TX"

Just a quick reply as I'm out. I think there is a specific S fw version.

I think this is the page I used for X-lite S : https://www.frsky-rc.com/taranis-x-lite-s/
I try :-)
