Taranis voice alerts

I have set up throttle cut on switch  no problem, but trying to add voice alert  i cant find throttle cut/ throttle off  in the sound files. Anybody know where  it's hidden.?

Not really, i have motor cut  on  a switch, this leaves the rest of the controls live so i can check  operation of surfaces and stabiliser without the risk of  getting sliced  then turn motor on when launching.,  there are lots of voice files available but in the T index no throttle.

Have you got the Amber (Mark 2) voice pack installed?  That has "Throttle Hold" and "Engine Enabled/Disabled" and a lot more things besides over the standard voice pack.

That probably explains it , i only have standard voice/sounds pack. I will look into loading the other tomorrow when  my brain has refreshed.

Someone did a pack ages back specifically for Multi's with more relevant calls than "engine off".................keep looking, there is something better than Amber out there..........................

No idea if this IS the pack in part or whole I have been using or not, I have not loaded anything to my Taranis for a couple of years now since getting involved with Horus beta, and initially (at least) Horus would NOT take many Taranis sounds, needing a different file naming format!!)

On all my FrSky Tx I have made up packs myself by pick and choosing (and renaming for Horus initially) so sorry but no idea where it all came from!!!   

Off Topic, but my Taranis is a very early Batch 2 into UK one, and has not had much updating of firmware or hardware. It has run a Futaba FASST module from very soon after purchase (because that was what I was on before and had loads of ultra reliable Rx). I now use it for all my slope soarers as its light and small.

I may have DX9, 2x DX7, DX6i, 2x 6EX, 10CG, FS-i6 and 2x Horus, but I still consider the Taranis the best overall package.

My favourite Taranis/Horus sound is one I have on a switch to use when being bothered on the flight line by stupid questions or multi requests for help to fix or maiden "when I'm free".  (This even when the darn iggits KNOW I only have three minutes battery/flight, they just cannot wait!!!     )
