Well this might sound stupid!
Never had this issue earlier.
using flysky fs i 6
Sw c is GPS atti Failsafe
i tried the routine of moving the switch up and down - SWC, it doesn';t go in compass calibration mode.

Solved.
It seems that you cannot get to compass calibration if the SW C is tuned to GPS-ATTI-FAILSAFE.
it only goes to compass calibration if the SWC is in GPS-ATTI-Manual.

Weird. I have i6 tx and my swC (3 position) is set GPS, Atti, Failsare and compass calibration (Naza Dance) works every time. I usually have a month of no flying then a couple of weeks flying, weather permitting. So always cal at start of flying week

Thats strange,
i just found a youtube video also confirming the same, but for me it doesn';t seem to work.

Tried it many times but did not get through and then shifted to gps-atti-manual mode to configure it.

Same here we have a weird summers keeps raining now and then, and then the ground is busy at other times, so just get to fly it now and then.
