Starting my build tomorrow and I feel thick!

Hello everybody.

I am brand new to this hobby and would really appreciate some answers to a few questions. I appreciate that these questions may be excruciatingly obvious, but I';m really inexperienced at the moment.

I have purchased the Emax Nighthawk 200 as I heard it was a good beginner build. It comes with ESC';s, motors, props etc. I';ve got a battery coming later in the week and am only going to fly it line of sight until I fully understand things.

I have watched a few build videos online which are very helpful but I need some kind of structure.

My questions are as follows:

1. There';s a little switch on the Emax PDB - what does this do?
2. Does the PDB get installed first on the frame and then the FC on top?
3. The PDB has 3 pairs of + and - on each side. If the ESCs go to these then why are there 3 pairs and not 2?
4. Will all this become clear to me once I begin?

I would really appreciate it if anyone could answer these questions, that would be brilliant. And also, if someone could recommend an order to build that would be helpful. For example:

Frame
Motors/ESCs
PDB
Flight controller etc.

      Can';t comment on this but looking at the emax website it looks like it may be to switch an LED String on

      Normally yes

3. The PDB has 3 pairs of + and - on each side. If the ESCs go to these then why are there 3 pairs and not 2?
        this is to make it compatible with Hex';s which have 6 esc';s

4. Will all this become clear to me once I begin?
        Yes it will

      Yes I would do it in that order
