And they sell nothing but bearings? I';m surprised that Huddersfield has such a healthy bearing market... [emoji14]

I hate to be bullish but isn';t a bear(ing) market a bad thing?!

I';ll get my coat...

I';m posting this up partly to find out if anyone else has the same issue and partly to warn anyone who hasn';t checked for it. I can';t be arsed typing it all out again so I';ll just post the email I sent to my supplier..

Please check yours and report back.

Just thought I would confirm that 3 of the 4 motors I got from ElectricWingman also has some kind of grease on them, with the bolt holding the bell on very loose, I';ve cleaned them and put a bit of loctite on and all is well now.

Thanks for the heads up.

All 4 of mine were fine, (were until dry stone wall impact)
Will be replacing casualties when they are back in stock

Armattan

Hi guys,

Bit late for me to spot this but if you have issues with your motors, or anything else, be sure to email me. service@armattanquads.com

There were some motors that were not cleaned properly after machining. This left oil residue deep into the shaft hole. Threadlock was used but sometimes did not take because of the oily surface. This issue has now been solved a while a go already. If you happen to have motors with apparent loose set screw, I recommend you clean it up with a solvent, nail polish remover, or something similar. Dry, apply threadlock and set the screw tension.

Remember to drop me a line if you have any issues, guys.

Thank you.

Best,
Chris

That explains it. Cheers Chris ;)
