Firstly... Hello forum,

I have 4 20a little bee ESC';s flashed with BLheli_s and am wondering if I can configure them through my Naze32 Rev 6 (10 DoF) FC, or will they need connecting to the computer seperatly, if so, what hardware should I use?

Many Thanks

atomiclama

Yes just connect your FC to the computer and use BlHeliSuite selecting the cleanflight interface.

Works quite well.

Note you should calibrate them in cleanflight, not blhelisuite

Ive had trouble calibrating from belheli suite one esc would not respond but instantly worked in cleanflight ?

Using cleanflight motor tab, dont connect battery,in motor tab activate the test switch/button thing, put the master throttle to top, insert the quads battery, listen to the esc calibration beeps, then when its done pull master throttle to min posistion, esc beep again and when them beeps end the esc should be calibrated.

Ultimately the point of calibration is to ensure the esc and flight controller interpret min and max throttle as the same thing. Because of differences in components, the wiring and the soldering the best way to do this is get the flight controller to send the signal in cf, each esc will then understand what min and max throttle looks like (although they may appear out of sync in blheli)

Although of course go to dshot and you no longer need to calibrate

I found a neat trick with Blheli, hook it up to a cheap KK2.1 board with RX wired up and use pass through to calibrate all esc`s in one....just done this with my F330, put the mini kk in did calibration then took kk out and fitted Naza lite
