heard this was coming a while ago from another Multirotor page, so far i have been using UAV Forecast and found it great so far and have been using it for a while now. i was near Bolton Wanderes Football ground last week...the Wife wanted to go shopping ,  selected the app by accident and noticed the red NFZ at the bottom.. it was showing a red circle all around the stadium..mind you you wouldnt or shouldnt fly there anyway really, but at least it showed up as a warning.

Cheers. Just tried it and it wants name, email and mobile number to create an account otherwise you can';t use it! So much for a users privacy!!!!! Their privacy policy is massive!!!!! Uninstalled.
Installed UAV Forecast and it looks good with weather forecast and kp values etc.

Wouldn';t trust anything from the Beeb these days, not that they have changed but people eventually spot the agenda and data hooks.

I use notam.info and noflydrones.co.uk, these current apps must be getting the info from somewhere so just try to find that source more directly without populating another government database (like 400ft Britain).

BTW I don';t have a Phantom type quad, fly close to airports and certainly don';t condone that at all, but I think people who fly away from people and buildings as safely as they can should be left alone to pursue the hobby without having to be constantly GPS tracked on their phone.

Sucks and blows at the same time. The privacy policy is a misnomer,what privacy???
