need help and advice tricopters and quads

It will be on 3s at a guess, im thinking 2212 1400kv but early days and wont be making this for a good while, the trifecta wont be in the air till xmas time, and i hope to look at doing the armatton for the spring, i bought the frame now as it seems to be the  last one in the uk and at a reduced price

I think 2212 1400kv might be a bit heavy, on a similar weight frame Simplecopter is using 2206 2100kv on 4S and it goes like a rocket, he seems to be using smaller motors on 4S these days, I';m guessing that it';s to get vibration to higher frequencies so that the arms damp them better. Wooden arms will damp high frequency low amplitude vibration better than the opposite, I found this out when I was experimenting with different kv motors on tricopters, also found that CF and aluminium were not so good at damping so more critical of prop balancing.

I will have plenty of time to decide what running gear to go with, dont want speed as such just want it to be fairly nippy, as i want the "glider" type flight
