Fpv cam and GoPro lens

Don';t know if this is realy the right place to ask but I seen couple posts now about the Sony hs cam having GoPro lens fitted and saying it works great.

Am thinking to buy for my runcam sky,people are saying it fits the runcam action cam and even sj4000, I got a turnigy 2k.

But I wouldn';t mind to try it out on my fpv runcam sky,so does anyone know if it';s a fit for it,if it wasn';t I would have a spare for my turnigy I think but which GoPro lens is actually GoPro lens on eBay?

Are they just 170 degree lens that fit go pro,is the actual GoPro original better.

If you guys have bought the lens and are happy with it,I read some good comments,care to share a little info about the lens,where you bought,is it an original or just a cheap Chinese Jobby.i seem em for like £3!

Runcam Sky and the Sony HS1177 are the same camera, just differently badged, if I remember correctly. As long as you have a 12mm thread on it, put it on. I got my lens off ebay from a UK seller (about 3 quid more expensive than China) and it';s a vast improvement over the standard lens.
