How do you control servos connected to the Aux pins on a Pixhawk

Hi Guy

This has been driving me nuts, I have a 10 channel radio connected to my Pixhawk via PPM.

The instructions show that I should be able to connect servos to the Aux pin sets and control them with switches on my transmitter, now I can map some of the channels to the Aux pins and get the servos working, but only channels 6, 7 & 8 but nothing on channels 9 & 10.  As I use 6 to 8 for other options I need 9 & 10 to control servos.

Is it possible to do this or have I misunderstood  the instructions and it';s not possible.  If it is possible how do you do it.

I am running Arducopter firmware and using mission planner.

Thanks for any help with this

There is an article on it here
http://ardupilot.org/copter/docs/common-servo.html
but its not 100% comprehensive. My understanding is Channels 1-8 on your receiver are absorbed by the motors, therefor Aux1 corresponds to the input on receiver Ch9, Aux 2 Ch10 etc. You do however have to go into the parameter list in Mission Planner and find RC9_Function and set this to = 1 (RC Passthrough). Its not a intuitive interface....
