Arducopter v2.8

Arducopter v2.8. Mission Planner 3.3.37
I cannot get the compass to calibrate, have tried this on a W10 and W7 computers.
I move the Ardupilot around and around for ages in different directions.
I get a window telling me not enough data!
Any ideas please

I have had similar problem, resolved it by unchecking the auto accept tab at the bottom of the calibration screen.  If possible use 3DR  radio instead of USB  lead as its easy to get a duff connection with the lead getting tangled up.

Thanks, connected the ex GPS then redone the calibration, sorted.

Do you mean APM 2.8 (the hardware)??  Because ArduCopter (the software) is now at 3.2.1 - highest version possible for APM.
