Crius Bt baudrate

Is anyone familiar with setting the baud rate on the Crius Bluetooth module?
Before reinstalling win7  everything worked fine, I could connect to multiwii conf and cleanflight via the bt module, I';ve trawled every thread and online guide on configuring through my ftdi adapter yet the module just flashes away.
It';s successfully paired with my laptop over bluetooth but no connection can be made either via bt or ftdi.
I can still connect from my android devices so it';s gotta be a windows issue that';s preventing me from changing the baud from 9600 and stopping cleanflight and multiwii from connecting.
