Thanks for closing the thread, hate open ended questions out there on the net.

Does seem strange fault but your substitution points there for sure.
Could be something like a bad xtal oscillator I suppose, interesting to see what they say.

Last shot I';d flash it again, out of the frame "full chip erase" and just check it with nothing but sbus connected.
