Hi Westy
What help do you need? The actual equipment or advice on what equipment to purchase?
4 Years MR Experience - DJI (Preferred), APM 2.5/6, KK2, Spektrum systems. Always happy to help....!

One would assume!
I would suggest a Naza V2 complete with GPS and Zenmuse 3D Gimbal, all tried and tested gear and not rocket science to set up (but at a cost).

Agree with DarrellW on the parts list, the only thing missing from the want list is the 360 gimbal. I know the Naza M v2 is not the cheapest controller on the market, however it just works so well with this frame. The Zenmuse H3-3D has come down a lot in price, DJI have dropped their price down to £179 from £250. A 360 gimbal will need retract legs, or you will keep getting them in the way of the camera, just a thought...

You do need to add a few additional parts to make the gimbal fit:

DJI Zenmuse H3-3D Mounting Adapter for Flame Wheel F550

DJI F550 Flame Wheel Landing Legs

You will be able to take a live feed to the ground with a FPV system from the gopro gimbal.

For the battery, I have a number of systems now running on the 4s LiPo 10400 mAh, these seem to offer a good flight time as long as your total system weight is not over 2.5-2.7Kg with the battery installed and any other parts you might be adding.

Regards

Martin

PropsToYou

I personally really wouldn';t worry with those spindly DJI white legs on an F550, especially if you';ve got a camera fitted.
If money is an issue, get yourself one of these, but if budget can stretch, get yourself an aeroXcraft landing set. Both these options include a mount to fit your gimbal to so saves you buying a spare one. The AeroXcraft one also features a battery mount on the back which allows you to easily counterbalance your camera and gimbal with the Lipo.

As for GPS/FC, most commonly used on this frame is the DJI Naza V2, but again, it really depends how far your budget stretches.

As for your LiPos, I';d definitely recommend going 4s over 3s if you';re carrying a camera.

With regards to the camera mount/gimbal, by 360 degrees I';m assuming you mean that you want to be able to rotate the camera 360 degrees rather than film a 360 video? In this case, you';d need to go for retractable landing gear as it would get in the way of your shot. Generally with a gopro setup you have control of the tilt of the gopro but use the yaw of your hex itself to pan left and right.
