Gimbal power

Whats the consensus here re gimbal power... (2 axis Tarot style with controller) Power from main lipo and risk reduced flight times or power from separate smaller lipo (say a 600mah 3s) and add weight which will probably reduce flight times anyway? First time I';m using a gimbal so advice would be welcome, thanks

Typically i use the flight battery,   what gimbal are you using?

I use the main flight battery, Gimbal wires go to the PDB for power from flight pack, i thought of another battery, but going from when flying without the gimbal to flying with it, flight time loss was pretty much irrelevant.

entirely choice though.
