don';t know if this is the right section .. has anyone used the new Headplay set up with any of the Phantoms or any other quad .... I know it connects to Lightbridge and I was wondering is it any good ? thanks guys ....

I am really interested in getting a set of Headplay goggles as I';m not entirely getting on with Fat Shark since using OSD (absolutely fine without).   A set of Quanum V2 have stirred my interest in these huge headsets ::)  And the Headplay are a fabulous specification.  Just a tad rare and expensive in the UK right now .. with the usual replacement of $ for £ in the translation.

I cant believe the price of them compared to the states but we always get shafted over here ....

do you know if they are plug and play with a phantom 3 mate ... I take it you still need the tablet on the tx so as you can run/see the dji app ?

I';m not sure about plug n play, but I read that they have HDMI input and if you can get an output from the Phantom 3 display device then the answer would be a yes.  But I don';t think it is quite plug n play ...

when you say output from P3 display device do you mean so as you can see all the data in the Headplay ? can you fly without seeing it in the Headplay ? sorry about the noob questions ....

Hopefully someone else can fill in the blanks as I am not a Phantom 3 owner.  My understanding is that it will display the FPV to a tablet.  So I guess the answer to your question is that you do not need the Headplay to fly FPV.
