Argh what a complete donkey I am.... forgot to attach cloverleaf to VTX and also forgot to unplug from pdb and decided to plug lipo in.....hmmmm some 5 mins later realised what I had done....hmmm these VTX don';t half get warm.  Well guess back to goodluck to buy another *sigh*

Immersion ones can last quite some time before damage occurs, had a crash a five hour search antena ripped off resolder and test all was fine!

Haven';t tried it yet as i was too busy making Gordon Ramsey sound like an angel....its one of the "cheapy" ones from Emachine, hoping its not knackered tho

hopefully there the same as a immersionRC vtx.
makes no difference if antenna is attached or not,damage wise..

if you power vtx with out antenna,it will usually still give out a signal but at a reduced power. i had a 500mw vtx and after someone tested it with a immersion power meter i found out it was only putting out 75mw of power

Do a range test, that';ll tell you.  Or send it to me and I';ll check it out with the power meter.
