I';ve now got this up and running on my APM 2.6 Hex, but it';s information overload more info than a F16 HUD !! 

I had a chat with the guys from Flying Tech @ Cosford and they';ve given me a link to how to select less info, but it calls for a FTDI USB adapter ?  would this one work http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/252027240475?_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649&var=550887346126&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT  ??

It';s a bit of a gamble with those cheap ones.  I bought a few and most were fakes.

I had that one saved in my lists, but it says it';s 5v but on the wiki page for the OSD it mentions 3.3v ??

They also do a 3.3V version.  Have a look at their shop.

No, the data lines are inverted.

Have the cheap you listed c but needed to dig out an old note book with XP loaded to get it to work ..
