So it';s about time I add OSD to my racer (I think).
Just came across this in the HK sale and wondered if anyone had used it with CC3D running OpenPilot? http://hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__74670__Micro_HKPilot_OSD_MAVlink_Compatible_Micro_On_Screen_Display_UK_Warehouse_.html

If you can find this in the UK:

http://www.multirotorsuperstore.com/mavlink-osd-minimosd.html

Then you might have an easier time on the setup, as OP have done more compatibly coding for this model.
I';ve got one myself but it';s for my next build (can';t really see much point for OSD on a 250!) so I';m afraid I can';t be of any further help... sorry  :embarrassed

i got a cheap ( £10 ) osd off of ebay , only shows volts ( and a optional timer ) .
something like 40 different positions for display to appear , works fine with fatshark .
( it does show volts at about half a volt below true value ,)
it just needs a 12v supply and a single video in /out wire .

I have just ordered this: £7.39 ';MICRO Minim Mini OSD MINIMOSD for APM Flight Controller MWC KV Team Mod'; from ebay.
Hope it will work but it is cheap at £7.39 but it will take a while to arrive from the far east.
I try :-)

The one you linked is specific for MAVlink. You';ll need an OSD that can speak the UAVtalk protocol.

The minimOSD boards will do, with the minOPOSD addon.  Also, have a look at the original OpenPilot thread here.  A little warning, that thread is of RCG proportions.
