LOL!! Good point, ched! But I'm on-call tonight and really need to get some sleep. I'm not entirely sure how true the build will be in this state!
Potensic F181DH  -  Ghost 250 (blue)  -  Cheerson CX-10/A  -  Syma X11C  -  FQ777-FQ17W  -  Eachine E57  -  BetaFPV 65S  -  Robocat 280 (in build)  -  Ghost 250 LED (in build) - And lots of broken stuff!

LuMan

A couple of dinky 3S 650mAh for my mini 130mm quad build. I'll need to replace the somewhat cute XT30s with proper, manly XT60s!

While I'm at it... I got 2 of these on Thursday and then noticed that they still had some left on Saturday. So now I've got 3! Not from the postman, but what the hey!  :D

The plan:

1 will be a 2CH glider. Either big chuck, slope, tow, bungie, whatever...

1 will be a stupidly over-channeled flying thing with a host of totally unnecessary features, like flaps and 3D throws!

1 will be a totally ridiculous twin or triple engine affair! And why not!

I hung one on the wall just to annoy the missus, who was already pee'd off that I'd got a total of 3 of them!!   I'm now gonna buy one EVERY time I go to Lidl, until Lidl run out. They had about a dozen left yesterday!

First purchase from HobbyRC what a delightful company to deal with.

Gotta wait for the Jumper T18 to try these out now.

I've always liked HobbyRC, always great service and the little bit of Blackpool rock  :D
It's a pity they don't allow collections as I am only about 2 miles from them!

Let us know how you get on with crossfire.

I could only find the Lite module in stock at HobbyRC. few hours later when I realised the receiver wasn't in the basket I ordered the nano Rx and paid another lot of postage.

HobbyRC deserves a praise here as they refunded the postage on one order and combined the two orders before dispatch. I wasn't going to bother as it was an error on my behalf.

How are you finding the your Crossfire ? I've been impatient so I've hot wired the receiver to a unused usb cable and paired them up and updated all the firmware.

here's my Crossfire wired up to a spare FW ESC on my bench.   :D

I'm going to put it in my 7-incher tomorrow that fail-safed (on 2.4GHz FrSky) from 100m altitude yesterday.

Firstly, HobbyRC have my vote as the best UK mail order business, very VERY closely followed by Drone Junkie. Pretty much the only reason Mike at HobbyRC came first is that he has currently more of what I'm currently buying, as Jem is equal on service and promptness!

Today (at 21:30 no less!!!!) a Banggood order of micro drone LiPo's from JANUARY arrived!!!!!!  Got to feel a bit of sympathy for the turmoil of delivery issues they must have faced and still be facing, even if their government allegedly has been trying to kill us.

Yet another route used into the UK, no wonder they need more transportation costs to survive.

Courier was in a tiny car with a huge black bulging flexible bag nearly as big as the car strapped directly to the roof and loose parcels up to the windows in rear and front passenger areas, heaven only knows how he gets the right parcel to the right drop!

I've had lipos from BG travel to Los Angeles first!!!

It's a bit rich of Royal Mail not to transport lipos within the UK as quite often I have had BG lipos delivered by Royal Mail!!!
Not really helping UK business are they?????

first off I'm going to get a USB-C cable so I can plug the bloody thing in

it's going to replace one of my original Raspi 1's which I'm still using a a NAS/samba server & for some inept coding & general linuxing around on.

atomiclama

Just wire up direct to the 5V pin header. That's what I did.

They are a great bit of kit. Think I have about ~5 dotted around the house doing different things.

Right you asked  :D

- 1x Home automation server - Home assistant - doing hot water and computer control, expanding to central heating, lights and other stuff
- 3x hooked up to TV - LibreElec - kodi
- 2x WiFi access points - so I can get network in garage and around the garden.
- 1x hooked up to speakers in kitchen - moode audio - Loud music Saturday evening whilst I cook with a few beers  :D

Ah that's more than I thought  :whistling:

Oh and a F*&^£$ large, noisy server in the cellar for all the media storage and software builds.

well, the Amazon man came with my USB-C cable today, marked the order as "handed to resident" & went away again.

I don't know what resident he handed it to, but it wasn't me.

isn't that what Rolf used to say? :o

it's a new power board for my goggles that Skyzone sent me free of charge:

I was just rather amused by how it was nicely wrapped & labelled in a language I have no chance of understanding.

It was "Can you SEE" etc, so he's OK.........  :D

Today Mr Hermes brought me a couple of sets of the DALPROP FOLD's. I resisted the temptation to colour the blades differently other than my usual grey front, red rear.

And yesterday a pair of Foxeer Lollypop Antenna.

It will be interesting to see how you get on with the props both performance and flight time. Also how robust they are.
