180 quad V2

I decided to do a redesign of my 180 size quad to allow easier placement of parts and change the look a bit, I think it came out damn nice.  As soon as I get a few misc bits I will have this bad boy ready for a maiden.





Did a quick check of the weight with all the bits with the battery and a mobius and it came in at 325g, pretty good result me thinks condiering it';s G10.

nice dockman nice indeed , i like the top deck hole pattern , i saw you have a cnc so you must of cut this one ?

Yep, I cut it out on my CNC mill.  Been making parts for the tricopter as well today.

Just need to decide what connector to use for the batteries and it is set for some test flights.

sweet thats my next build,  a tri or maybe a v-tail !  and handy to know you do cnc jobs noted !

All ready for a test flight, did a quick hover in the house and it is rock solid.  Ready to fly it came in at 332g inc a mobius.





Space is def at a premium on these, I ended up making a plate to go over the FC to mount the VTX to.
