Different Versions of the Zenmuse H3-3D Gimbal

Hi Folks,

Can someone explain the exact difference between the H3-3D gimbal for the Phantom 2 and the same unit for the Flamewheel?

The reason I ask is that I just bought an H3-3D for my Phantom 2 and now realise that I have received the Flamewheel version. As far as I can see, the only difference is that the Phantom version comes with the anti-interference board and the Flamewheel version comes with the GCU instead. The top mounting plate lines up with the mounting holes on my early-version Phantom.

If my observations are correct, the addition of an anti-interference board is about £13:50 whereas the cost of a GCU is around £100. However, the retailers I have checked are asking the same price for both versions.

Cheers,

Ian

Just to add to my previous post, I have installed the gimbal on the Phantom 2 with a separately purchased anti-interference board and it is working 100%.

I am still confused as to why the Phantom version with the anti-interference board (worth £13:50) and the Flamewheel version with the GCU (worth £100) are the same price to buy. Ho hum!

Ian.
