I have an old android tablet (archos, I think) is there a way this can be used as a fpv monitor?

I might work.  If it has video input you could connect the video receiver.  The other option is to stream over WiFi if you have a camera that can do it.  The latter is less than ideal though and you';d be limited to a fairly short range.

I';ve got one of these and can use it to record video, I had to buy a adapter but it works a treat.

I originally got it to field adjust my naza settings, but it was just sitting there, so looked at video options.
