Hello all :-)

I';m currently trying to repair one of my Lipo batteries whose black balance lead cable has become detatched. I';m not sure where I should solder it though and I can';t find a good reference on line? Should I just solder it to the big negative cable?

Thanks

Colours may be different, but this is how the balance cables are connected to the cells in principle.

Thank you :-) So it is a case if just soldering the black to the black then?

Without seeing the LiPo myself, I';d hesitantly say yes.  Do you have the red balance lead on the same pole as the fat positive wire?  That should be a good indication.

Yes the little and fat red are soldered to the same terminal. I think I can see where the black used to be soldered before it became detached too so I';ll have a go and see what happens.
