Battery life and c rates.

I';ve got some 4s 5000mah I think 20/30c
Using on my DJI f550 I seem to get about 6 mins before it';s about 40% left.
What can I do for better flight times.
Mind every time I go out it always seems blooming windy so fighting against the wind.
Had the batter connected to my alarm on the balance lead and At times the alarm was sounding even though there was 50% left have I got the wrong rating batterys.

Lipo alarms trigger when the battery voltage sags under load (hard throttle for example)

I gave up on the alarms and just found myself a time that let me have a decent fly plus an additional 60 to 90 seconds to land.

The only problem is remembering to reduce the timer value for cold weather
