New Diatone H-800 build

Hi Folks.

This is the first build of a proper multirotor and as such, I would like to be treated as a complete newbie!  ;)

At the age of 42 and having been in RC since I was maybe 13 or 14, I';d like to think I can build a great model and get on quite well with it....???

Having said that, this will (and already has) present some interesting challenges!

Ok, So hear is what I';m putting together....

The frame is a Diatone H-800
Motors - RCTimer BC3536/11 750KV (runing on 4s I think?)
ESC';s - Rctimer NFS ESC 45A
Flight controller - Pixhawk (clone)
Radio - Taranis Plus.

So.... there are already a few firsts...
First Multirotor build,
First use of a flight controller,
FIRST TX with such complexity!!!! Actually, I';m sure that';s going to be a heap of fun on it';s own!  :wack0

The down side so far is the wait for things to come through the post! most of it is from over seas and takes far too long!  :waiting:

I have the frame and actually bought two... the 800 and the 680.... this was because the 800 didn';t have the PCB base plate and I wanted a specific arm combination...

The kit comes with 3 red arms and 3 white... I wanted 4 red and 2 white up front...

here';s the PCB plate in place...

So now, I have some spare arms if/when I brake any!  ;)

Anyway, I will welcome any comments and suggestions.....

David.

Nice looking good! I';d advise to not just chuck it together - take your time and make it very neat so if you decide to add more stuff to it e.g. fpv you have the room to do it.

KillerDave

Thanks for your reply....

I do like to think I do a neat job of thing and I try to build for flexibility...

Looking for ward to getting the rest of the parts so I can get on with it....
