You lucky, lucky (expletive deleted)!!! ;D

Thanks all,

Kilby -  the only downside is that there may be the odd early morning but only on rare occasions,

Cloudbuster -  Its going to be used for initial survey or inspection of large buildings, structures and boilers which would need expensive scaffolds or rope access teams. not saying it will do everything but it';s another tool in the box to use.

Was only talking about something like this the other day.  Great idea and something I am going to be looking into more in May.

Have you flown it yet?

Have not flown it properly yet just a quick hover to get a feel for it. I am going to try it out in one of the large buildings this week.

And of course i will have to take it to the flying field over the weekend to get some practice hours on it.

What I struggle to understand is the equipment needed for this?  What hardware would I need (besides something to put in the air!).  Camera, sonar etc...?

Well i flew it for the first time properly today used 3 packs and can honestly say it was rock steady in loiter mode it virtually spun on a ten pence piece with the rudder on full lock and the RTL was spot on. Its not something i normally use but i wanted to test it, and it landed a meter from its takeoff point.

Top marks to PK  ~~

Wow, nice work if you can get it....

What';s the qualification course and what does it allow you to do?

Pyriel7422

I';m getting them to send me on the RPQ-s course so i can use it outside to look at the large cooling towers, chimney  and buildings we have.  I';m also looking to use it inside the boilers and large buildings for initial inspections.
