Been lurking for a few weeks reading up on build logs and others specs and think I';ve finally decided on what will be my first self build.

Before I hit the buy button on my intended Frame, ESCs and Motors just want to check whether there is any problem with using the supplied power distribution board of the 680PRO.

Planned purchase:
680PRO
Hobbywing Xrotor 40A OPTO
Emax MT3510 600kv
Pixhawk

The Tarot site lists up to 30A ESCs for this power distribution board but have read a lot of good reviews about the Hobbywing ESCs which make me think they would give some scope to upgrade to lower KV motors in the future if I wanted in the future.

Anyone think of any reason these wont play nicely together.

ShackFlyer

No problem using PDB I did.
Might be worth buying a spare motor or 2. QC on the Emax 3510';s I got was a bit iffy (play in shaft due to ? Bearing seat distortion on 2 of them? )
I might have been unlucky, but batch production can sometimes throw these out, as with any manufacturer.

Paulham

No problem using the PDB.

If you want to use the canopy, the battery lead will come out of the front, which isnt great if you have a gimbal.
I took a longer lead, ran it from the pads, through the centre and out the back instead.
