Anyone using this brand?  I Can';t seem to find any feedback? Only reason I ask, I';ve just bought one (ebay) £19 for a 3S 5500mAh 35C

If it';s no good for my hex it should keep my mpx Funcub in the air for ages

Dino

I';ve got one of those - it seems fine to me on my 450, but I';ve not really got anything to compare it with like for like (I also have 2 Thunder Power G6 Sport Race 4300 mAh 35C which get most of the airtime).  The other problem with my opinion is that I';m still a noob! lol

I do seem to remember searching the internet when I bought it and finding that Floureon make laptop batteries and had a fairly decent rep.

GdLookinMingeR

to be honest they look like re badged Gens Ace batteries, that are by the way excellent.

may i ask why are you buying such large batteries ?

I have used many types of lipos over the years
and to be honest my preference overall for life and service
Zippy Lipos

The C Rating advertised is the maximum current draw in burst only so your average
current rating would be about 20c usually.

with the smaller lipo packs they are lighter, and therefore a little more efficient
overall.

this battery is listed as 30c but with a burst of 40c
this however

will give you lots of power from start to finish max of 50c  half the weight so longer flight time and its £8.00
think you may be better off with 2 of these...
depending on your setup you would probably get a flight time of around 8 -12 mins on a 3s 5500 lipo 1000kv motors
but with 2 2200 zippy lipos half the weight  about 7-8 mins each with more power overall for your flips and rolls..

Just MHO and to be honest i wish someone would have told me a long time ago.

remember with a lipo you ding it U bin it! Play Safe :-)

Carbon Tricopter with KK2 mini because you have to own a Tri and Falcon Evo FPV (rebuild again) with fatshark 600mw vtx & pz2040 cam. New addition (hidden from the missus!) 250 quad.

I was intending on flying it using 2 x 2200';s that I have for my fixed wings, but this 5500 worked out only 40grams heavier and a bit more capacity also the price seemed too good to be true?

I';m using turnigy 28-26 1200Kv with 10x4.5 and when I put the details into xcoptercalc the 5500 gave me an extra few mins and as it will be my first multi, more flight time = more experience  :sweating:  So the "Flips n Rolls" will come later  ;)

The Battery arrived this morning and looks good, one bit on the information sheet made me laugh !  "If eaten get medical advice soon"

I know H&S has to try to cover all situations, but who would think " I';d like to eat this, pass me the ketchup!"  :banghead:

Agree on the Zippy front.  Great batteries.  I think the floureon would be fine on a 450, though I think I killed my 3000Mah on my 650 - pushed it a bit too hard.  They are only 30C I think.
